A Spanish rental listing on Idealista attempted to market an apartment using The Sims 4 images photographed from a monitor, featuring bird’s-eye shots of an all-white space with staged props, including books, utensils, and a kitchen roll, as well as a random bedside table beside the fridge.
A Twitter user flagged the post, and replies joked about paying in Simoleons and using the “motherlode” cheat. The listing was reported and removed amid concerns over rising rental scams. The ad claimed just 41 square metres, which raised doubts that the real place, if it exists, matches the clean, roomy look achievable in the game’s build mode.
